One can choose to go back toward safety or forward toward growth.  Growth must be chosen again and again; fear must be overcome again and again.

Assessments

Assessments offer valuable information leading to insight and understanding. These assessments provide clients with greater self-awareness about their personality, leadership style, working competencies, and emotional intelligence.

Upon completion of an assessment, I debrief clients on their results and they receive a detailed report to deepen their learning and develop actionable next steps. Assessment results provide a rich framework for identifying goals and opportunities that enhance leadership development and career success.

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®

Self-awareness is the first step towards personal and professional growth. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® assessment provides detailed information about personality types that helps individuals better understand their behaviours, motivations, strengths, preferences, and potential areas for growth. Insights from the MBTI® can be used to develop a deeper understanding of personality both individually and in an organizational context.

When applied to teams in the work environment, the MBTI® tool provides great benefits by delivering a framework in which team members can better understand and manage communication, work styles, team culture, leadership, change, problem solving, conflict resolution, and stress. This assessment enables individuals and teams to learn about themselves, each other, their leaders, and how these components fit together to boost team effectiveness, productivity, and success.

MBTI® Workshop:  If you or your organization is interested in using the MBTI® as part of a team building process, please reach out. MBTI is great for enhancing team engagement and development, and overall team effectiveness.

Workshop format:  Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)® Assessment; individual, small group, and large group interactive activities; teaching and discussion.

Emotional Intelligence

EQ-i 2.0®

EQ360®

Emotional intelligence is the ability to recognize and understand emotions in yourself and others and then use this awareness to manage your behaviour and build better relationships. Leaders with high emotional intelligence are more likely to create connected and motivated teams, increase work satisfaction, and foster organizational commitment.

The EQ-i 2.0® assessment is one of the most reliable and widely used EQ assessment tools. It measures a set of emotional and social skills in 15 competencies grouped into five composites: Self-Perception, Self-Expression, Interpersonal, Decision Making, and Stress Management. The comprehensive report provides a detailed analysis of your results, describing how your EQ competencies work together. It also provides suggested strategies for bringing your EQ competencies into balance for greater effectiveness.

In your one-on-one coaching debrief, we will review your results and identify the EQ competencies you want to work on to improve your effectiveness as a leader and team player.

Like the EQ-i 2.0®, the EQ 360® deepens your understanding by comparing your own self-assessment with feedback from others who have answered the same questions about you. The raters, chosen and invited by you, may include leaders or managers, colleagues, direct reports, family, and friends to provide a comprehensive 360° of your emotional and social functioning.

This additional information is extremely helpful and leads to greater insights, growth, and development. Once you have decided to take the EQ 360®, you will receive instructions on how to select and categorize your raters as well as instructions to take the EQ-i 2.0® assessment. Once your raters have completed their feedback, I create the report and contact you to review your results.

In your one-on-one coaching debrief, we will review your self-assessment results with the information provided by your raters on the 15 competencies. Your report will provide key insights identifying your leadership potential, gaps, and strategies to help you strengthen your EI leadership skills.
